About our Nurse Call System
Live-Link Communications Ltd. are designers, manufacturers and installers of Wireless Radio Nurse Call Systems suitable for Nursing Homes, Residential Homes and Hospitals. Their first system was designed back in 1988 and was superseded in 2002 with a whole new array of features and technical advances.
The Complete Service
The SEEK-AID Radio Nurse Call System comprises panels and call units with internal aerials. When a transmitter is activated, a call signal is carried by radio to the panels. Both the unit number and the cause of the alarm, standard, assistance or emergency are displayed. The sounder is triggered, emitting one of three distinct tones to indicate the urgency of the call. The volume can be set depending on the time and location.
Three types of nurse call panels are available and there are a number of peripherals including pear push leads, pull cords, air switches, pressure mats and key switches for fire doors. Pager phones can also be incorporated into the system to provide paging and speech communication.
The Live-Link passive infra-red (PIR) range can aid the monitoring of residents leaving their beds who are prone to falling. Likewise, it can be set up so that if a resident attends their en-suite and does not exit within a pre-determined time, staff will be alerted through the nurse call system. The device can also register if residents are inactive in their living areas, over a period set by management.
The unit can be ceiling or floor mounted with a wide detection area. The Live-Link PIR range is extremely flexible and can be adapted to link with other manufacturer’s systems. It can also be supplied as a standalone unit with receiver panels if there is no existing nurse call system.
